New Music: Skyzoo Archives #15: "S.K.Y.-2005 prod by fatin" & "Keep It To The Side f/Big Pooh-2005" prod by khrysis

Well it is not exactly new...actually it is pretty old..about 3 years old but I have been bumping this track since then. Blah, let Napoleon speak...

Told you it'd be a Justus League week right? Lol. So in this week's 2
for 1 bonus, here's 2 more joints produced by League members and
"S.K.Y.-2005" is from that infamous NC trip (told yall we did ALOTTA joints
that week). Produced by Fatin (the beatsmith behind Lloyd Banks'
"Cake" joint), this beat is beyond crazy. It started out as sort of an
anthem for
myself but was also real raw and line-for-line formatted, so I just
kept it there. "Keep It To The Side-2005 f/Big Pooh" was a joint that
I did later that year when I went back to NC to do more work. Khrysis
did this beat, and Pooh set it off, so I just followed up on the alley
oop. I came up with the hook real quick and that was that. This wound
up becoming the banger for the night in the studio after we finished
it. Repeat mode HEAVY that night, lol. Both of these are from the Hall
of Justus album "Soliders Of Fortune". If you dont have it yet, go hop
on amazon or itunes immedietly. "S.K.Y.-2005" produced by Fatin" &
"Keep It To The Side f/Big Pooh-2005" produced by
Khrysis. Holla

Fashion: Leaders1354.com..Good Stuff

Some good stuff on this site. I check back frequently due to my loyal reader, Aisha A. constantly telling me to check their stuff out. Judging by the pictures that I posted especially the picture under this...it is some good stuff. I have not ordered stuff from them...however...looks like I might have a"Ballin with Obama" T-Shirt soon.

Check em out.

Better than A-Life stores and the constant YRB stores in Manhattan

Fashion: New Era Ferrari inspired DC Shoes...

Normally I am not a fan of Uptown sneakers/hats/black people. However, I am blown away by these Ferrari inspired sneakers. They almost remind me of Nike's ACG boots which were the hood favorite from last year.

Someone want to buy me these? Please? I will pass on the hat though...I am not a big fan of hats.

Jacked this from Complex.

Fashion: Living Mutants Sweaters...I wish I was rich

Something else I jacked from Marcus Troy. The sweaters themselves are not as tight as I would personally wear them, but the pattern that it is stitched into is fire. The actual sweater is some crazy design that you would only see in the greatest city in the world...New York.

Knock that Boston shit out Tampa Bay

Stumbled On: Barack Obama Ads in EA Games

Someone sent this to me in an email, and I jacked it from Marcus Troy. These ads are extremely clever and a great idea for the election itself. Who are they really trying to get at? I can understand them trying to get the 18-25 yr/old nerd, but, this game is not primarily played by those ages.

I think they need to advertise in WoW (or World of Crack for people who do not know). WoW would be a great place to advertise...however, I am not sure if Blizzard has advertisements. Someone follow up on that for me.

I think they do...thinking back to my Starcraft days, Blizzard used to have advertisements in Battle.net all the time.

And yes, they do have advertising in WoW.

Stumbled On: Asher Roth on XXL

Asher Roth has been killing it lately. I think that he has the potential to be the brand new white boy in town.

Termanalogy whats good?

Music Info: Max B Speaks...who cares?

I am sitting in class as we speak and I need some garbage to discuss and this is what I found on AllHipHop. As we all know, Wavyfaggot was laid out by Freakey Zeakey outside of some club (where most events in Hip Hop happen). Seems like Max B copped a plea. Apparently Max B was not even in New York. Max B was in Miami and flew back on Sunday (Oct 11).

Personally this is fairly entertaining due to the fact that Freakey Zeakey would actually lie saying that he beat Max up.
It gets stupider. There was a damn eye witness as to the fact that Max B was knocked out.

So who is lying here?

Let us look pass that. Who the fuck cares who is lying? Freakey Zeakey is irrelevant, Max B is riding that wavy board so hard Otto is trying to keep up.
It gets even better...people riding the Wave want Max B to come out with an album. However in an interview with Rhapsody.com, Jimmy says, I own him, so you tell me when his album’s gonna come out,” Jones said. “He sold his publishing to me for like 100 stacks or whatever the bail was when he was cryin’ to me to get out of jail. He signed to me, not Asylum. He won’t be coming out with an album anytime soon.”

So what is the real thing to take over this scpheel that I just posted?

The wavy movement can only ride the wave...as far as Jimmy says it can

Yup. He's back.

No talking here. Just DOWNLOAD IT HERE.

New Music: Green Lantern & Russel Simmons Presents, Yes We Can Mixtape

I know the picture has nothing to do with DJ Green Lantern...but I felt like doing it anyway. Kick Rocks.
Ahh I am glad I recieved this email. The mixtape itself is fire (just took a quick listen) and mixed greatly by Green Lantern. Not only is this a great idea, it also strengthens the other side of Hip Hop in relation to the election...the one that understands how to actually make change instead of blindly showing support to one candidate.

New Music: Skyzoo Archives

Want some different underground stuff? Here is Sky.

So why not make it a Justus League week, right? Number 14 in the
series finds us at "Speed Racing-2006" featuring Little Brother &
Chaundon, produced by 9th Wonder. This is a beat that I picked out
from 9th back when we first met in 2005. I did the hook on the spot
and the verse followed right after. For awhile I never did anything
with the record, and then Tay
(Phonte of LB) called me and said that he and Pooh were doing a Gangsta
Grillz tape with Dj Drama and wanted to know if I was down to get on it. Of
course I was more than willing to be apart of what became a classic tape. So
Tay said that he really liked the Speed Racing joint and wanted to
finish it up, which was definitly fine by me. Next thing you know, me,
Pooh, Tay, and
Chaundon had a cult fave on our hands. So here it is; "Speed Racing f/Little
Brother & Chaundon-2006", produced by 9th wonder. Ps: "The Power Of
Words" and "The Salvation" are both right around the corner. Holla

Music Info: If Hip Hop Was A Television Show...

Something Andrea and I came up with...let us get started. Do not catch feelings people. It goes by relevancy. Therefore, Tupac and Biggie are dead which means they are no longer relevant besides death conspiracies and the Bush Doctrine. Not only that, some rappers will not be on here because I do not believe them to be relevant at the time and being. I have sole say over this project. Kick Rocks/Lick Balls/Etc. I will start with
Jay Z is Oprah:

Why is Hov Oprah? Well because Hov has the longest run at the top. Arguably, some people can say Nas has; however, Jay Z has consistently been the driving force in Hip Hop for over 13 years now. Oprah has the number one talk show...period. Jay Z is not the best selling rapper of all time, nor is he the most known rapper, however he sets the agenda. If Hov thinks it is hot...then it will sell.

Nas is BET:

Listen to my reasoning OK. Sometimes you listen to Nas and he is great...like when BET plays Old School music videos non-stop. Sometimes you listen and Nas is just plain annoying...like morning inspiration coming on during those drunk nights where you need something black and it is too early to eat chicken. Sometimes Nas is repetitive...like 106 & Park. Sometimes Nas is GOAT like Rap City (with Big Tigga or before I Am). Nevertheless, you love it regardless...no matter how much you say you do not.

Rakim is The Fresh Prince:

I would give Will this title but he does not really rap anymore. However, he is a great rapper Rakim has influenced everyone. The Fresh Prince is arguably one of the greatest sitcoms of all time. I think Rakim might be the greatest of all time.

Let us leave it up to dispute.

Kanye West is Bill O'Reilly:

Simmer down here. Remember when Kanye said, "George Bush hates black people?" Remember when Bill O'Reilly freaked out during a taping? You watch...just to see what stupid and crazy stuff will happen next.

Lil Wayne and Birdman are Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star:

Well they are not related...and Birdman is supposed to be his father; let us look past that here. Essentially, they are best friends and maybe gay together. Spongebob and Patrick love each other...a little too much. Just like Wayne and Birdman. Wayne beat up the pussy while I beat the ass up

50 Cent is Sportscenter:

50 Cent has his hand in everything. Sportscenter reports on everything. (Even Nascar..Yeehaw). No matter what they do, Sportscenter will always have top-notch ratings. 50 Cent (by himself) will always sell well. Finally? Men and the occaisonal lesbian love 50 Cent more than girls do and the same for Sportscenter.

Eminem is The Sopranos:

Eminem comes hard 90% of the time (excluding that last....CD). The Sopranos was just a great show...90% of the time (excluding that last...fucking episode). The families of both are as twisted as a screw. Tony secretly harbors something against his mother...Eminem definitely harbors something against his mother. Not only this…the way the ended resembles the way Eminem disappeared. In a damn coffee shop.

Lupe Fiasco is True Life/National Geographic:

When you listen to Lupe you learn something listening to Lupe. Lupe is a brilliant storyteller as is True Life and Nat Geographic. However, they can still get down to the nitty gritty. You do not feel educated nor dumb listening to him. It is actually a damn good watch.

Chris Brown is The Hills/Laguna Beach/Gossip Girls/Disney Channel/High School Musical/Degrassi etc...:

Please do not get your panties in a tizzy ladies. You know how you are never more than 8 feet from a spider? Well I bet you are never more than 8 feet from someone without testes that watches these shows. Which means, you are no more than 8 feet away from someone that would take Chris Brown and put him in the Bush-lip piledriver.

Rihanna is The Tyra Banks show:

First let us look at the glaring ideas ahead of us in the foreground. Both of these women can fry eggs on that forehead of theirs. On paper, and on wax, they are both outstanding...in person it falls and you wonder why you talked to either of them in the first place. They are both too damn tall. They have their hits and misses. Sometimes Rihanna makes dumb songs. Most of the time Sometimes Tyra has dumb shows. Rihanna tries to hard to be Beyonce. Tyra tries too hard to be Oprah.

T.I and Young Dro is Sanford and Son:

Sanford and Son. Country as hell...however, still nice and relevant as hell. 'Nuff said.

Rick Ross is Carl Winslow from Family Matters:

Do I even need to write for this one? They are both cops. They are both fat. They are both actors. They both love donuts. Need I say more?

R Kelly is to Catch a Predator:

You expected this coming did you not? R Kelly was not caught. However, after peeing/jizzing/slapping/modeling/acting with nignornance coursing through his veins he is still at large. This dude has "some 19 year old friends" that count as teenagers.

Dumb motherfucker

Joe Budden is Its Always Sunny in Philad

You know who Joe Budden is right? Surprisingly some people have no idea as to who this man is. Sunny in Philadelphia is a fantastic show and is getting rave reviews from everywhere and everyone. However, people have no idea who he is. If you do not know the latter check it out. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

The Diplomats is Nick Jr:

Let us not sit here and say that we do not know that the Nursery rhymes are entertaining. They are almost everyone's guilty pleasure. People do not like to admit that they listen to these dudes on a reg. basis...but I know that Diplomatic Immunity gets a spin everyday. Nick Jr.? Why hate? Franklin was a good as show. Also, whose clues?

BLUES CLUES. "Dipset Killa Cam, Juelz on deck holla no homo"

Cam'ron is Steven Colbert:

Before you call this a reach hear me out. Cam'ron takes himself seriously. Steven Colbert does too. However, they are both jokes...right? So therefore, this is what allows them to be together. I mean honestly, look at their work. Steven Colbert has REAL guests on the show but clowns with them. Cam'ron has REAL chicks calling his phone that he records and puts on his album

Because a chicken does not go "quack quack quack"

Plies is Real Sex

Remember staying up late when you were a kid to watch this show? In addition, no matter how grossed out you became you continued to watch? Yea that is like Plies except when you are in the club it is the perfect reason to almost sex a girl on the show. The real funny thing is, you just feel raunchy when you listen to him. Like I said, when I listen to Plies it makes me want to be tested.

New Music: Plies - Heard of Me

The video is the normal Plies video. I think that he is clever yet stupid for coming out with not one, but two albums in one year. I mean, shoot, Lil Wayne knows how to flood the market but not you Plies.

I do not enjoy his songs though. When I listen to his music, I feel like I need to get tested for something.

21. T-Pain - Phantom

Someone send me some Kool G Rap to offset this ignorant mass of tracks. This album should be pretty insane due to the large amount of guest appearances on an album. A large amount of guest appearances normally shows that the artist has no idea how to create an album on their own and has to much fucking money for a budget that everyone wants to be on the album.

I think that it is going to be a flaming pile of T-Pain crap be amazing!

Ha. Jokes
